There are two identical
sessions, morning and evening, on each day that training
is provided. Auditors only need to attend one
training session on the day it is offered.
Who Must Participate? Who Must Pay?
Previously, the recertification process involved
physical attendance at a class offered and taught by
GMA-SAFE. Those who attended these classes were
given a three-year extension to their expiration dates.
As of September 2009, this policy has changed.
Classroom-based recertification has been eliminated.
Instead, all GMA-SAFE certified auditors are required
to participate in four of the six on-line Recalibration
Workshops offered every two years. A modest $150 fee is
charged.
Expiration dates will be honored for those auditors who
recertified under the previous requirement of attending
a classroom presentation. Also, they are exempt
from the $150 fee for the on-line Recalibration
Workshops until after their current certifications
expire.
Refund Policy
A refund of $125 will
be given for cancellations 30 days prior to the
workshop. A refund of $75 is allowed for cancellations
made at least two weeks before the workshop. After
that, no refund will be given. |
